As part of the National Children’s Month Celebration, the Lezo Local Government Unit launched the “Arte Mo Show Mo!” and “Kabataan Got Talent Contest” on November 26, 2022.
The talent show included youth and children from the twelve barangays. Barangay Cogon took first place in the Arte Mo, Show Mo! competition. Barangay Tayhawan came in second.
Participants from Barangay Mina won the On the Spot Tiktok Contest. Bugasongan won first place in Kabataan Got Talent, with Sta. Cruz Biga-a and Tayhawan placing second and third, respectively.
Mrs. Wenna Mae B. Manares, MSWDO, stated that the successful holding of the talent search is part of Mayor Mary Lenette R. Fernandez’s program of prioritizing children’s needs and believing that our children have hope in our community.
She also thanked LGU officials, Vice Mayor George R. Villarubia, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, local partners, stakeholders, judges, PYAP officers, and SK officials led by Hon. Mariane Inawasan and Liga ng Mga Barangay officials led by Hon. Albane Nepomuceno, as well as the parents who were present to show their unwavering support for the event’s success. (By Ernan T.
