Salient Points on Aklan GCQ with High Restrictions

Governor Florencio T. Miraflores issued an advisory on July 24, 2021 for the strict observance of General Community Quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions provided for under Executive Order No. 2021-005-D and additional protocols and guidelines approved by the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force.

  1. Mandatory wearing of face shields together with face masks.
  2. Movement of all persons shall be limited to accessing and delivery of goods and services, for work on establishments allowed in GCQ areas.
  3. Restrictions in going out of 18 years old and below, 65 years old and above and those who have immunodeficiency, comorbidity or other health issues and pregnant women.
  4. Students below 18 are only allowed to go out of their residence during enrollment.
  5. Travel Pass issued by the Municipal Mayor is needed for non-essential travelers to another town.
  6. No indoor dining and establishments are allowed to operate to a maximum of 50% capacity only.
  7. Mass gatherings (5 people or more) are prohibited.
  8. Religious gatherings are allowed up to 30% of the venue capacity.
  9. Gathering for necrological services, wakes, inurnments, funerals are allowed only for immediate family members.
  10. Business activities not engaged in delivering essential goods and services are closed on Sunday.
