The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) chose Lezo as one of the municipalities for its 2022 LSWDOs Service Delivery Capacity Assessment.
The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office’s ability to provide services and its ability to do so well was assessed by Nelida Loria and Rayner Jude Lobaton of DSWD Region 6.
This is part of the DSWD’s Technical Assistance and Resource Augmentation (TARA) for Local Social Welfare and Development Offices (LSWDOs), through which the DSWD will be able to identify Lezo’s technical needs in the delivery of social welfare and development services.
Mrs. Wenna Mae B. Manares, MSWDO, stated that the assessment is a great help in identifying the LGU’s needs and serves as the foundation for the DSWD’s provision of technical assistance to level up the service delivery of her office’s social welfare and development programs and services.
