1. AVAILING AID TO INDIVIDUAL IN CRISIS SITUATION (AICS)

Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office is one Department in the Local Government Unit mandated to protect, rehabilitate, those who have least in life. This is done through provision of Social Welfare programs, services and interventions to the poor vulnerable, disadvantage individuals, families and communities by utilizing social work methods like casework, group work and community organizing.

2. SOCIAL CASE STUDY REPORT (SCSR)

A confidential document prepared by a Registered Social Worker to justify the financial standing, emotional, and physical situation of a client and his family. It consists of social case findings based on socio economic status of the family, assessment and recommendation.

3. SENIOR CITIZENS OSCA ID AND BOOKLETS

Avail of OSCA IDs and Booklets granting 20% discount from medicines, groceries, fare, burial, hospital, restaurant and movie houses to qualified Senior Citizens aged 60 years and above.

4. PWD ID (Person with Disability)

Granting PWDs IDs to qualified persons with disabilities for discounts and other privileges as mandated by law.

5. SOLO PARENT ID

Availment of Solo Parent ID to avail privileges particularly on the grant of 7 days special leave for those who work in the government or private company.

6. PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELING SERVICE (MCS)

Provide counseling service to would-be couples applying for marriage license. It is done by License Marriage Counselor with other team members from Municipal Health Office (MHO) and Municipal Agriculture (MA).

7. DAY CARE SERVICE (DCS)

Provision of supplemental parental care to 3-4 years old pre-schoolers who maybe neglected, abused, exploit, abandoned during part of the day when parents cannot attend to their needs.

8. SUPPLEMENTAL FEEDING

Provision of supplementary food to day care pre-schoolers who are moderately and severely underweight. Implementation of this program runs for 6 months or 120 days.

9. MINORS TRAVELLING ABROAD (MTA) SERVICE

Provision of parental care or clearance to Filipino children below 18 years old who wish to travel abroad with or without companion and must be assessed/recommended by Local Social Worker and approved by the Regional Director of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Regional Office, Iloilo City.
