The Local Government Unit of Lezo has commenced routine desilting and civil maintenance operations along major primary drainage channels within the town center to ensure unimpeded water flow and safeguard local households against flood vulnerabilities.

In coordination with the Municipal Engineering Office and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), work crews are deployed along critical arterial streets to remove sediment deposits, trim obstructive vegetation, and inspect underground culverts.

Motorists and local business establishments within the Poblacion area are advised to anticipate temporary lane restrictions during peak morning operations. Barangay marshals are actively stationed to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow.
